New Zealand wool is considered one of the best in the world for carpet. It has an excellent natural colour giving bright, clean shades of colour, is clean and low in wool grease content, resistant to dirt and crushing and is available in large quantities of consistent quality, producing excellent end-product consistency.
NZ wool is acknowledged as the whitest and cleanest in the world and is produced using environmentally friendly, energy-efficient and safe production methods - no internationally banned pesticides are used on our sheep farms.
NZ wool has exceptional strength and the ability to blend with other components through high-speed processing. Specialty wools are blended with lower density wool to improve resilience when this characteristic is required. When lustrous, smooth finishes are required, 100% blends of NZ wool are used.
